As a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ed has built a loyal local following as co-founder of the alternative rock band Butterfly In Traffic, releasing two EPs and a full-length album from 2009-2023. Ed continues to wow crowds as a solo artist. In 2024 he released the EP "Solo & Acoustic"  featuring the single "Street Lights." This set captures the energy of his live performances with an intimate set of originals like "Smile" and "Wiser" recorded at Cinnamon Sound Studio.

Over the years, Ed has brought his sound to storied venues like the Cubby Bear, Martyr's, The Great Highwood Pumpkin Festival, and Milwaukee's Summerfest.
