With his textured vocals, soulful acoustic guitar, and blues-infused rock, Chicago-based singer-songwriter Ed Gershon brings heart, energy, and authenticity to his live performances. Blending original music with thoughtfully chosen covers, Ed draws from the storytelling of The Beatles, the improvisational spirit of Dave Matthews Band, and the raw energy of The Black Crowes.

Ed began his musical journey as a co-founder and frontman of the eclectic rock band Butterfly In Traffic, which he led for over a decade. Today, he performs as a solo artist, combining acoustic guitar, soulful vocals, and live looping to create a full, dynamic sound.

Ed has performed at notable venues including Chicago's Cubby Bear and Martyrs', Milwaukee's Summerfest, and wineries throughout Western Michigan. His 2024 EP, Solo & Acoustic, featured the single Street Lights. He continues to write, record, and perform new music, with his next single, Don't Let Your Dreams Get Lonely, scheduled for release this fall.
